Can the Memphis Grizzlies Overcome the Thunder's Storm?

In a closely contested battle at FedExForum, the Memphis Grizzlies faced off against the Oklahoma City Thunder, concluding with a final score of 112-125. The Grizzlies now stand at 35-17 for the season, while the Thunder improved their impressive record to 42-9. Despite a hard-fought game, it was not enough for Memphis to secure a win against their formidable opponents.

Grizzlies' Efforts and Highlights


The Memphis Grizzlies showcased resilience and teamwork throughout the game. Jaren Jackson Jr. stood out with an impressive performance, contributing 19 points, grabbing three rebounds, and blocking three shots. His defensive efforts were notable as he also managed to steal the ball three times from his opponents. Desmond Bane was another key player for Memphis, scoring 20 points and providing five assists while securing nine rebounds.


Santi Aldama also made significant contributions off the bench with 18 points in just under 25 minutes of playtime. His shooting accuracy was remarkable as he hit 75 percent of his field goals including one from beyond the arc and maintaining perfect free throw accuracy.


Thunder's Dominance


The Oklahoma City Thunder demonstrated why they are one of the top teams this season with a balanced attack that saw them leading by as much as 28 points during the game. Their ability to maintain control was evident in their time leading which amounted to over 46 minutes compared to just under one minute for Memphis.


Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led his team with precision on both ends of the court contributing significantly to their victory through strategic plays and efficient scoring.
