First Quarter

The game began with both teams showcasing their offensive capabilities. The Grizzlies managed to put up 28 points in the first quarter, but it was not enough to outpace the Blazers' aggressive start, who scored 32 points. Jaren Jackson Jr.'s defensive presence was notable as he contributed significantly with blocks and rebounds.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Memphis attempted to close the gap by scoring 31 points. However, Portland maintained their lead with a solid performance from their bench players who added crucial points. Despite Cam Spencer's efforts in distributing seven assists and securing seven rebounds for Memphis, Rip City continued to dominate inside the paint.

Third Quarter

As play resumed after halftime, both teams intensified their efforts on defense. The Grizzlies scored another 30 points but struggled against Portland's efficient shooting from beyond the arc and inside plays that resulted in high-percentage shots. Olivier-Maxence Prosper made his presence felt with nine rebounds for Memphis.

Fourth Quarter

Entering into crunch time during the fourth quarter, Memphis aimed for a comeback but fell short as they only managed to score 25 points compared to Portland's decisive finish of 29 points. Jahmai Mashack showed promise by contributing offensively; however, it wasn't enough against Rip City's relentless attack led by Jerami Grant.
