The Timberwolves, coming off a decisive 105-93 victory over the Suns on April 23rd, have shown that they can dominate both ends of the court. With an impressive record of 56 wins and only 26 losses, their performance has been nothing short of stellar.

In their last meeting at Target Center, the Timberwolves displayed a balanced attack with contributions across the board. Their bench outscored that of the Suns by a significant margin—17 points compared to just 28 from Phoenix's reserves. Moreover, Minnesota's defense was suffocating; they racked up 11 steals and forced a total of 20 turnovers from their opponents.

The offensive prowess of MIN was on full display as well; they shot an efficient 45 percent from the field while sinking nine three-pointers. Their free-throw shooting was particularly lethal at an astounding rate of 87 percent. This multifaceted offense is likely to pose significant challenges for PHX once again.

On April 20th, MIN had already set a precedent by trouncing PHX with an even more commanding scoreline—120-95—showcasing their depth with an incredible contribution of 41 points from their bench players alone. The team's ability to share and protect the ball was evident through their assist-to-turnover ratio which stood at an impressive figure.

However, it would be remiss not to acknowledge that on April 14th, PHX managed to secure a win against MIN with a scoreline reading in favor of Phoenix at 125-106. In this encounter, despite MIN’s valiant effort in scoring efficiency (51 percent field goal shooting) and dominance in paint (50 points), it wasn't enough as PHX capitalized on every opportunity presented by turnovers and fast-break situations.
