First Quarter

The game began with both teams displaying solid defense. The Timberwolves managed to edge out a slight lead by scoring 22 points compared to the Spurs' 21. Despite their efforts, neither team could establish dominance early on.

Second Quarter

The second quarter saw a dramatic shift as the Spurs surged ahead with an impressive offensive display, scoring 48 points. This was in stark contrast to Minnesota's consistent yet modest performance of another 22 points. The Silver and Black capitalized on their opportunities and took control of the game heading into halftime.

Third Quarter

In a remarkable comeback attempt during the third quarter, the Wolves roared back by putting up an astounding 40 points. This offensive explosion was spearheaded by Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels, who combined for significant contributions from beyond the arc and inside plays. However, despite this effort, San Antonio maintained their composure with a steady performance of their own.

Fourth Quarter

Entering the final quarter trailing slightly behind, Minnesota continued their aggressive playstyle but fell short as they scored another strong total of 39 points. Meanwhile, San Antonio managed to hold onto their lead by adding another solid performance with 30 points in this period.

Throughout this encounter between these two competitive teams—highlighted by multiple lead changes—the Timberwolves showcased resilience but ultimately couldn't overcome San Antonio's earlier advantage established during that pivotal second-quarter run.
