At the Golden 1 Center, home to the Kings, fans witnessed an offensive clinic by the Pelicans. From tip-off, New Orleans set a relentless pace, opening with a strong first quarter lead by scoring 33 points and maintaining their momentum to rack up another 39 before halftime. Their scoring prowess continued after the break with an additional 31 points in the third quarter and closing out with a solid 30-point finish in the fourth.

The Pelicans' efficiency on court was nothing short of remarkable; they shot an astounding 61 percent from field goals and were lethal from beyond the arc with a three-point shooting percentage of about 54 percent. They also excelled at free throws making approximately 88 percent of their attempts. This sharpshooting contributed to their largest lead being an overwhelming fifty points.

New Orleans not only shined offensively but also put up robust defensive numbers. They blocked nine shots throughout the game and grabbed sixty rebounds – forty-two defensively and eighteen offensively – showcasing their control under both baskets.

A key factor in this matchup was bench production where New Orleans' reserves contributed significantly with fifty-three points. The team's ability to share responsibilities was evident as they amassed thirty-five assists leading to high-percentage looks that kept them ahead throughout nearly forty-seven minutes of playtime.

On individual performances for New Orleans, it was truly a collective effort that dismantled Sacramento's defense while maintaining formidable resistance on their own end resulting in limiting Kings' fast break opportunities significantly.

The Sacramento Kings fought valiantly but struggled against New Orleans' tight defense which held them to just one hundred points for the game. Despite outscoring Pelicans during fast breaks six-to-nineteen and having more steals (nine), they couldn't match up against New Orleans’ offensive onslaught or overcome their defensive tenacity which resulted in only two blocks compared to nine by Pelicans.

Looking ahead for fans of The New Orleans Pelicans: your team will be facing off against Golden State Warriors at Chase Center located in San Francisco on January tenth at seven-thirty PM Central Time Zone. This upcoming game will be broadcasted nationally on ABC as well as locally on NBCS-BA channel six hundred ninety-six for home viewers and BSNO channel six hundred seventy-six dash four for those following away from home.
