The game unfolded with an intense pace as both teams put up impressive numbers in each quarter. The Pelicans started strong with 32 points in the first quarter but were outdone by Milwaukee's 36. Consistency was key for Milwaukee as they maintained their scoring momentum throughout, never allowing New Orleans to take control of the game.

The New Orleans team fought valiantly and managed to lead for a total duration of just over three and a half minutes during which they held their biggest lead of six points. However, it was not enough against Milwaukee's dominant performance that saw them leading for over forty-two minutes and achieving their largest advantage of thirty-four points.

Offensively, New Orleans had notable contributions from its bench players who added thirty-nine points to their tally. They also showed strength inside by scoring forty-eight points in paint out of forty-two attempts which is an impressive fifty-seven percent success rate. Their free throw accuracy stood at seventy-eight percent making twenty-eight out of thirty-six attempts.

Defensively though, it was challenging for New Orleans as they recorded only three blocks and five steals throughout the entire match compared to Milwaukee's twelve steals. This disparity contributed to fewer opportunities for fast break plays where they scored five points from such chances.

On individual performances, turnovers were an issue for both sides; however, it was more pronounced for New Orleans who gave up fifteen turnovers leading to nine points off turnovers for Milwaukee. In contrast, despite committing nine turnovers themselves, Milwaukee capitalized better by scoring twenty points off turnovers made by New Orleans.

Looking ahead after this tough encounter at Fiserv Forum where nearly eighteen thousand fans witnessed the event unfold live – fans can catch The Pelicans next when they visit TD Garden in Boston on January 29th at 6:30 PM local time (Central Time). This upcoming matchup will be broadcasted on NBCS-BOS channel number six hundred thirty and BSNO channel number six hundred seventy-six dash four.
