At Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, fans were treated to an offensive showcase as both teams put on a scoring clinic. The Pelicans started strong out of the gates with an impressive 39 points in the first quarter and maintained their scoring pace by adding another 35 before halftime. However, despite their efforts and ending with a total score of 122 points for the game, they could not keep up with the Lakers' explosive offense.

The Pelicans showcased their ability to distribute the ball effectively by racking up 28 assists over four quarters. They also demonstrated efficiency from beyond the arc and from within it; they shot an admirable 38 percent from three-point range and an even more impressive 61 percent on attempts inside the paint. Their free throw accuracy was notable as well – sinking shots at an 83 percent clip.

New Orleans also made sure to capitalize on fast-break opportunities whenever possible, converting half of their fast break attempts into points for a total of 16 fast break points. The team's bench contributed significantly too, chipping in with another solid performance totaling 28 bench points.

On defense though, there were challenges for New Orleans as they struggled to contain Los Angeles' offense which managed to put up significant numbers across various metrics including field goal percentage and points in paint where they dominated by scoring an overwhelming majority of their baskets close to rim.

Looking ahead after this high-scoring affair that saw them fall short despite putting forth a valiant effort offensively – fans can catch The New Orleans Pelicans next as they travel northward to face off against Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center on February 10th at approximately nine o'clock PM Central Time. This upcoming match will be broadcasted live for away fans on BSNO channel number:676-4 ensuring supporters won't miss any action regardless where they are located.
