Pelicans' Efforts Fall Short Against Warriors at Chase Center

The New Orleans Pelicans faced a challenging game against the Golden State Warriors, ending with a score of 106-124. Pelicans' Key Performances


Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram were standout performers for the New Orleans Pelicans. Williamson contributed significantly with 31 points, eight rebounds, and three assists but struggled with ball security, turning over seven times. His shooting was efficient from both inside and beyond the arc, making 63 percent of his field goals overall. Ingram matched this intensity by scoring 30 points on an impressive 71 percent shooting from the field and perfect from the free-throw line.


Yves Missi also made notable contributions with nine points, seven rebounds, and two blocks, showcasing his defensive capabilities despite turnovers that affected his overall efficiency. CJ McCollum had a quieter night than usual; he managed only five points but led in assists for his team with five.

Warriors' Dominant Second Half


The Golden State Warriors demonstrated why they are considered one of the most resilient teams in basketball during this game. After trailing early on, they bounced back remarkably in the second half thanks to their aggressive defense which translated into effective fast-break opportunities - scoring 22 fast break points at an astounding rate of 82 percent efficiency.


Their bench played a crucial role in their victory by contributing a whopping total of 54 bench points compared to just thirty from their opponents'. The Warriors also capitalized on turnovers more effectively than New Orleans did; they scored thirty-four points off turnovers while limiting New Orleans to just five.
