New Orleans Pelicans and Indiana Pacers: Can Pelicans' Effort Overcome Pacers' Precision?

Pelicans' Highlights


The game was a rollercoaster for the New Orleans Pelicans, showcasing moments of brilliance interspersed with challenges. Dejounte Murray led the team with an impressive performance, scoring 19 points, dishing out seven assists, and grabbing seven rebounds. His shooting accuracy from beyond the arc was notable at 67 percent. However, turnovers were a concern for Murray as he accounted for eight of them.


Yves Missi also made significant contributions with nine points and an outstanding 14 rebounds, demonstrating his prowess under both baskets. His defensive rating highlighted his impact on that end of the floor.


Brandon Boston Jr., another key player for the Pelicans, managed to top-score with 20 points. His three-point shooting was particularly effective at 75 percent. Despite these individual performances, overall team efficiency lagged behind expectations.


Pacers' Precision


On the other side of the court, The Indiana Pacers displayed remarkable teamwork and precision throughout the game. Their collective effort resulted in a higher field goal percentage (51 percent) compared to that of The New Orleans Pelicans (39 percent). The Pacers also excelled in assists (33), showcasing their ability to share and efficiently utilize possession.


Their bench played a crucial role by contributing significantly with 37 points compared to The New Orleans Pelican's bench which added only 26 points to their total score.
