New Orleans Pelicans and Denver Nuggets: A High-Scoring Affair at Ball Arena

In a recent face-off at Ball Arena, the New Orleans Pelicans and the Denver Nuggets engaged in a high-scoring game that kept fans on the edge of their seats. The Pelicans, with a record of 12-39, scored 119 points but were outpaced by the Nuggets, who tallied 144 points to secure their victory. This game brought the Nuggets' season record to an impressive 32-19.

Pelicans' Performance Highlights


The New Orleans Pelicans showcased commendable effort and skill throughout the game. Zion Williamson led the team with an outstanding performance, scoring 28 points along with six rebounds and four assists. His field goal percentage stood at an impressive 58 percent for two-point shots. Trey Murphy III also made significant contributions with 25 points, nine assists, and five rebounds; his three-point shooting was particularly effective at a rate of 50 percent.


Another notable player for the Pelicans was CJ McCollum who added 19 points to his team's total alongside three assists. Yves Missi demonstrated efficiency on both ends of the court with twelve points and six rebounds while maintaining a remarkable field goal percentage of 75 percent for two-point shots.


Nuggets' Dominant Game


On the other side, the Denver Nuggets displayed why they are one of the top contenders this season by putting up an impressive performance across all quarters. Their ability to maintain control over most parts of the game was evident in their time leading which amounted to over half an hour compared to just over nine minutes for The Pelicans.


The Nuggets excelled in fast-break situations scoring thirty-seven fast break points which significantly contributed to their overall scoreline. Their offensive prowess was further highlighted by achieving seventy-four points in paint compared to fifty-eight by The Pelicans.
