Pelicans' Performance Highlights


The game was marked by impressive individual performances from several Pelicans players. Zion Williamson led the scoring for New Orleans with an outstanding 40 points, showcasing his efficiency by shooting 76 percent from the field. His contribution was pivotal in keeping the game competitive. CJ McCollum also had a notable night, adding 31 points and three assists to his team's effort. His shooting accuracy was on display as he hit over half of his attempts from beyond the arc.

Kings' Counterattack


The Sacramento Kings managed to secure their victory through strategic plays and consistent scoring across quarters, particularly in their explosive third quarter where they racked up an impressive 45 points. The Kings capitalized on fast break opportunities leading to them scoring an additional 28 points in this manner.


Their bench played a crucial role in securing this win by contributing a substantial total of 31 bench points compared to New Orleans’ bench which added only twenty points overall. The home team's ability to draw fouls and convert free throws at a rate of seventy-nine percent also played into their hands as they built momentum during critical phases of the match.
