First Quarter

The opening quarter saw both teams testing each other's defenses. The Cavaliers took an early lead with a score of 32 points compared to the Pelicans' 22. Zion Williamson led his team with impressive offensive plays, contributing significantly to their scoring efforts.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both teams ramped up their offensive strategies. The Pels managed to close some of the gap by scoring 38 points, thanks in part to Trey Murphy III's sharp shooting and Bryce McGowens' defensive efforts that included three steals. However, Cleveland maintained their advantage by adding another 37 points.

Third Quarter

The third quarter was pivotal as Cleveland extended its lead further by scoring a remarkable 41 points while limiting New Orleans to just 31. Despite Zion Williamson's continued efforts and Derik Queen's contribution from off the bench with seven rebounds and five assists, it wasn't enough to contain Cleveland's momentum.

Fourth Quarter

In the final stretch of play, both teams continued their aggressive play styles. The Wine and Gold secured their victory by adding another 31 points against New Orleans’ final push of 27 points in this period. Notably, Yves Missi showcased his defensive skills with two blocks during this time.

Overall, while New Orleans showed flashes of brilliance through individual performances like those from Zion Williamson and Trey Murphy III—who scored efficiently—their defense struggled against Cleveland’s relentless offense which capitalized on fast breaks and second-chance opportunities throughout all quarters.
