From the opening quarter, the Thunder set a high-octane pace scoring 35 points and continued to build momentum as they led through each quarter. By halftime, they had amassed an impressive 63 points and did not relent in their scoring efforts throughout the game. Their prowess inside was equally notable with Oklahoma City Thunder converting on 65 percent of their attempts in the paint to total up to 64 points from that area alone. Additionally, they capitalized on turnovers by netting themselves another significant chunk of points totaling at 33.

Defensively, Oklahoma City Thunder were no less formidable; they recorded eight blocks and eleven steals over four quarters. This defensive solidity contributed to limiting San Antonio Spurs' fast break opportunities where despite having a fast break percentage of just two percent lower than that of OKC's (60), Spurs could only muster up thirteen fast break points compared to twenty by Thunder.

On individual performances for Oklahoma City Thunder – it was truly a collective effort as evidenced by thirty-six assists which reflected excellent ball movement and teamwork leading to high-percentage shots. Contributions came from all corners including sixty-four bench points which underscored the depth within this squad.

San Antonio Spurs fought valiantly but struggled against OKC's relentless pressure both offensively and defensively. They managed fifty-eight paint points but were outdone by OKC’s superior numbers in that department as well as most others across statistical categories.

As fans look ahead for Oklahoma City Thunder’s next challenge, attention turns towards Smoothie King Center where they will face off against New Orleans Pelicans on January twenty-sixth at seven o'clock PM Central Time Zone.
