At Smoothie King Center, fans witnessed an impressive performance by the Oklahoma City Thunder as they took control early on and never looked back. The first quarter ended slightly in favor of the Pelicans with a narrow lead, but it was all about the Thunder from thereon. By halftime, Oklahoma City had turned things around to lead by nine points.

The third quarter saw continued dominance from Oklahoma City as they extended their lead further. Their offensive efforts were bolstered by shooting 48 percent from field goals and an exceptional 93 percent from free throws. The team also excelled inside, scoring 58 points in paint out of an attempted 47 shots and converting these opportunities at a rate of 62 percent.

Defensively, Oklahoma City was just as formidable. They held New Orleans to just 39 percent shooting from field goals and a mere 25 percent from beyond the arc. With five blocks equaling that of their opponents', they also managed to out-rebound them with a total rebound count of 52 against New Orleans' tally of 49.

A key aspect for Oklahoma City was their ability to capitalize on turnovers; they scored an impressive total of 22 points off turnovers while committing only thirteen themselves throughout the game. This disciplined approach was reflected in their assists-turnover ratio which stood at two – indicative of efficient ball handling and distribution within the team.

The bench played no small part either; contributing significantly with thirty-three bench points which underscored Oklahoma City's depth and ability to maintain intensity throughout rotations.

As for upcoming events, fans can look forward to watching more action when Oklahoma City Thunder visit Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena on January twenty-eighth at one o'clock PM Central Time Zone. This game will be broadcasted on channel six hundred seventy-five for away fans wanting to catch every moment live.
