Oklahoma City Thunder Narrowly Edged by Rockets in Overtime Thriller

The Oklahoma City Thunder, with a record of 50-22, faced off against the Houston Rockets, standing at 37-35. In an intense matchup that extended into overtime, the final score read 132-126 in favor of the visiting team.

The game was a high-scoring affair with both teams showcasing their offensive capabilities. The Thunder put up an impressive performance from beyond the arc and inside the paint. They converted 37 percent of their three-point attempts and made 60 percent of their shots from within the paint. The bench contributed significantly to the team's scoring efforts with a substantial 58 points.


Defensively, Oklahoma City managed to block seven shots and steal possession seven times from Houston. Despite these efforts, they were outscored by six points in overtime which ultimately decided the game's outcome.

Houston Rockets' offense was firing on all cylinders as well; they shot at a solid rate of 48 percent from the field and made 35 percent of their three-pointers. Their ability to draw fouls proved advantageous as they attempted more free throws than Oklahoma City.


A key moment for Houston came when they went on an unanswered run scoring eight points while holding Oklahoma City to just two points during that stretch. This momentum shift played a crucial role in propelling them towards victory despite trailing behind in time leading during regulation play.
