The Thunder were relentless in their pursuit of victory, outperforming the Suns across various facets of the game. With an efficiency rating that soared to 160 compared to the Suns' 106, it was clear that Oklahoma City had brought their A-game. Their shooting accuracy was particularly noteworthy; they achieved a field goal percentage of fifty-six percent and were flawless from the free-throw line, making all fourteen attempts.

Defensively, Oklahoma City held strong as well with seven blocks and seven steals during the game. They limited Phoenix to just thirty-two percent shooting from beyond the arc and maintained a defensive points per possession figure at a stingy one point zero six.

On an individual level, player technical fouls stood at one for Oklahoma City but did not detract from an overall cohesive team performance that saw them draw more fouls than they committed – fifteen compared to thirteen – allowing them more opportunities at free throws which they fully capitalized on.
