The Thunder's performance was marked by resilience and strategic play throughout all four quarters. They began with scoring 20 points in the first quarter and maintained consistent pressure on their opponents by adding 23, 22, and an impressive surge of 35 points in subsequent quarters. This scoring pattern underscored their ability to adapt and escalate their offensive efforts as the game progressed.

Defensively, Oklahoma City showcased a robust front as well, registering nine blocks and eight steals over the course of the game. These defensive efforts were pivotal in limiting the Mavericks' opportunities to build a significant lead. The Thunder also excelled in rebounding, grabbing a total of 56 rebounds - with both offensive (12) and defensive (33) boards contributing to maintaining possession and creating second-chance points which amounted to 13 for Oklahoma City.

On offense, despite shooting only 38 percent from field goals overall and struggling from beyond the arc with just a 26 percent success rate for three-pointers, Oklahoma City demonstrated exceptional accuracy from free throw line hitting an astounding rate of nearly perfect shots at ninety-six percent efficiency which contributed significantly towards sealing their victory.

The team's ability to draw fouls played into this strength as they made twenty-three out of twenty-four attempts from free throw line. Moreover, key plays included dominating inside paint where they scored twenty-eight points despite facing stiff resistance from Dallas' defense which managed thirteen blocks against them.

For Dallas Mavericks fans looking for highlights; it was not without its moments including leading by as much as fourteen points during one stretch of play thanks largely due strong performances across board including forty points scored inside paint showcasing aggressive penetration strategies that have been hallmark this season’s approach under coach Rick Carlisle’s guidance.

Looking ahead; fans can anticipate another exciting matchup between these two teams when Oklahoma City Thunder hosts Dallas Mavericks at Paycom Center on May fifteenth scheduled for eight-thirty PM local time. This upcoming game promises another chapter in this riveting rivalry with live coverage available on TNT and truTV networks ensuring fans won't miss any action regardless where they are located.
