Thunder's Commanding Performance


The Oklahoma City Thunder took control early on, leading for 37 minutes and 31 seconds of game time and achieving their biggest lead of 22 points. Their offense was on full display with a total of 106 points scored against the Pelicans. A significant contribution came from fast break opportunities where they capitalized by scoring 34 points out of 20 attempts, marking a fast break percentage of 60 percent.


Defensively, the Thunder were just as impressive. They managed to steal the ball an astounding 16 times and blocked seven shots from making it through their hoop. Jalen Williams stood out significantly for his team by scoring an impressive total of thirty-one points along with seven assists and six rebounds. His efficiency rating was unmatched at forty-three for this game, showcasing his pivotal role in both offense and defense.


Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also made substantial contributions with twenty-nine points, five assists, five rebounds alongside two blocks and two steals. His performance underlined his importance to his team's success on both ends of court.

Luguentz Dort added eleven points to his team’s tally while demonstrating versatility by contributing three rebounds along with one block and two steals which further solidified Oklahoma City’s defense strategy against New Orleans.
