Jazz's Struggle Against Thunder

Despite being on home turf, the Utah Jazz struggled to contain the offensive onslaught from Oklahoma City Thunder. They managed to score only 107 points against Thunder’s defense which was bolstered by ten blocks and ten steals over four quarters. Their effort was led by their ability to convert fast break opportunities into points (17) but was not enough to challenge Thunder’s lead effectively.

The Jazz showed resilience particularly in third quarter where they scored highest among all quarters (37), but it wasn't sufficient to bridge gap created by OKC’s explosive second quarter (39). Their shooting percentage stood at 46 percent from field and they struggled from free throw line making only half of attempts (56 percent).
