Oklahoma City Thunder Dismantles Charlotte Hornets in a Dominant Display

The Oklahoma City Thunder continued their impressive season with a resounding victory over the Charlotte Hornets, pushing their record to 58-12. The Hornets, struggling this season, fell to 18-52 after the game ended with a score of 141-106 in favor of the Thunder.

Key Performances on the Court


Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the charge for Oklahoma City with an outstanding performance, scoring 30 points and dishing out nine assists. His efficiency on the court was unmatched, shooting an incredible 72 percent from the field and maintaining perfect accuracy from both three-point range and free throw line. Chet Holmgren also made significant contributions with his all-around play, tallying 14 points, five rebounds, and three blocks while shooting at a 50 percent clip from both inside and beyond the arc.


The Thunder's bench depth was on full display as they outscored the Hornets' reserves by a significant margin. With contributions across the board leading to a total of 63 bench points for Oklahoma City compared to Charlotte's 47. This depth has been pivotal in Oklahoma City's successful campaign thus far.

Charlotte Hornets' Efforts


Despite facing an uphill battle against one of the league's top teams, The Hornets showed resilience throughout. They managed to convert on half of their attempts from beyond three-point range (46 percent), matching their overall field goal percentage for the night. LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier fought valiantly against Oklahoma City’s defense but ultimately couldn't overcome The Thunder’s offensive onslaught.
