First Quarter

The opening quarter saw both teams testing each other's defenses. The Thunder managed to edge ahead with a score of 26 points against the Bulls' 22. Isaiah Joe showcased his shooting prowess early on, contributing significantly to OKC's lead.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Chicago fought back fiercely, outscoring OKC by adding 32 points to their tally compared to Thunder's 29. Despite this push from Chi, Luguentz Dort remained steadfast in defense for OKC, ensuring that their lead was not completely overturned.

Third Quarter

The third quarter belonged largely to Oklahoma City as they extended their advantage by scoring an impressive 32 points while limiting Chicago again to just 22. Jaylin Williams was instrumental during this period with his dynamic playmaking and rebounding efforts that kept momentum firmly on OKC’s side.

Fourth Quarter

As tensions rose in the final quarter, both teams ramped up their offensive plays. Although Chicago matched Oklahoma City's output of 29 points in this segment, it wasn't enough for them to close the gap established earlier in the game. Chet Holmgren’s defensive blocks were crucial during these decisive moments.

Overall team statistics highlighted key areas where OKC excelled: they had a total of ten steals and dominated fast-break opportunities with twenty fast-break points compared to Chi’s six. Additionally, bench players contributed significantly with forty-six bench points for each team; however it was Thundercats’ efficiency that made all difference here.
