At the Capital One Arena, home to the Wizards, fans witnessed an offensive showcase as both teams combined for an impressive total of 264 points. The Pelicans took control early on and never looked back. They led by as many as 28 points and spent over half an hour in command of the game clock. Their scoring was consistent throughout all four quarters, posting tallies of 28, 47, 35 and finally sealing their win with another strong quarter of 32 points.

The Washington Wizards put up a valiant fight in front of their home crowd but were unable to contain the relentless offense from their opponents. The team's scoring was led by contributions across all quarters with scores of 30, 34, 29 and again finishing strong with another set of 29 points in the final quarter.

The standout statistic for the Wizards was their two-point shooting percentage which reached an impressive mark at over sixty percent from close range. They also showed proficiency beyond the arc hitting nearly forty-three percent from three-point land which contributed to nineteen made three-pointers.

Despite these offensive highlights for Washington's team including fifty-two bench points which closely matched that of New Orleans' fifty-six bench points contribution – it wasn't enough to overcome their rivals on this occasion. The turnover battle proved costly for them; they gave up fifteen turnovers leading to twenty-seven points off turnovers for New Orleans while only managing sixteen themselves.

Defensively both teams had challenges but it was particularly tough for Washington who allowed one hundred forty-two points against them while managing just six blocks compared to three by New Orleans who also recorded eleven steals during playtime.

Looking ahead after this tough loss at home court – fans can catch Washington's next challenge when they host Indiana Pacers at Capital One Arena on December fifteenth at seven PM Eastern Time broadcasted on MNMT channel six hundred forty-two ensuring another opportunity for supporters to rally behind their team live or via television coverage.
