In an intense matchup at the Moda Center, the Washington Wizards showcased their offensive capabilities by maintaining a lead throughout the game and achieving their biggest lead of 18 points. The Wizards' scoring was consistent across all four quarters with contributions that led to a total of 118 points. Their performance from beyond the arc was notable as they shot an impressive 40 percent from three-point range, making 12 out of 30 attempts.

The team's defensive efforts were equally commendable with six blocks and nine steals contributing to their overall efficiency rating of 135. This defensive tenacity was coupled with an offensive rebound count of seven and a total rebound tally reaching up to 48. The Wizards also capitalized on turnovers by scoring 21 points off them.

Key players for the Wizards stepped up when it mattered most; they recorded an efficiency game score of almost double digits while maintaining an assists turnover ratio above two. Their bench added valuable support by chipping in with 20 points.

On the other side, despite being on home turf, the Portland Trail Blazers fell just short in this closely contested battle. They fought valiantly in each quarter but were unable to take control at any point during playtime as indicated by their time leading being non-existent compared to that of Washington's dominance for over three-quarters of an hour.

The Trail Blazers did outperform the Wizards in terms of rebounds grabbing a significant total number which included doubling Washington's offensive boards count but still ended up on the losing side despite this advantage and having fewer turnovers than their opponents.

As fans look ahead, they can mark their calendars for another exciting game featuring Washington Wizards as they are set to face off against Golden State Warriors at Chase Center located in San Francisco on December 23rd at around midnight Eastern Time (ET). This upcoming contest will be broadcasted nationally on ESPN (channel number:206) and locally through NBCS-BA (channel number:696) for home viewers or MNMT (channel number:642) for those following away from home.
