The home crowd witnessed an offensive spectacle as both teams put up impressive numbers. The Wizards scored steadily throughout the match, tallying 30 points in the first quarter and maintaining their scoring pace with over 30 points in each subsequent quarter. Despite their efforts and ending up with a total of 128 points on the board, they were outpaced by an even more potent Thunder offense.

The Oklahoma City Thunder demonstrated remarkable efficiency from both inside and outside the arc. They shot an impressive 59 percent from field goal range and an equally notable 50 percent from three-point territory. Their prowess in converting chances was evident as they made over half of their fast break attempts, contributing to their total of 21 fast break points.

On individual performances for Washington Wizards, there was no shortage of effort or skill on display. The team managed to draw fouls effectively throughout the game resulting in them shooting free throws at an excellent rate of 86 percent accuracy. They also showed tenacity on second-chance opportunities by converting six out of ten attempts into points.

Defensively though, it was a challenging night for Washington as they struggled to contain Oklahoma City's dynamic offense which amassed seventy points within paint alone. The visitors capitalized on turnovers too; turning them into nineteen additional points which contributed significantly to their eight-point advantage over Washington by game end.
