Washington's playmaking was on full display as they racked up an outstanding total of 35 assists over four quarters. This facilitation was key to their offensive rhythm and allowed them to maintain pressure on New Orleans' defense throughout the contest. However, turnovers proved costly for Washington as they gave up possession on 19 occasions which translated into significant points for their opponents.

On defense, however, it was challenging for Washington to contain New Orleans' offense which managed to score heavily inside with a dominant paint presence leading to them scoring 74 paint points.
