Wizards Battle Bucks in High-Scoring Affair at Fiserv Forum

The Washington Wizards, with a record of 2-16, faced off against the Milwaukee Bucks, standing at 10-9, in a game that ended with the scoreboard reading 114-124. Despite a valiant effort from the Wizards, the Bucks managed to secure the win on their home court at Fiserv Forum.

Washington Wizards: Key Performances


The Wizards showcased some notable performances during the game. Malcolm Brogdon led his team with an impressive 29 points and added 11 rebounds to his tally, demonstrating his versatility on both ends of the court. Jordan Poole wasn't far behind, contributing significantly with 31 points and seven assists. His ability to create plays and score was evident throughout the match. Jonas Valanciunas also made his presence felt by scoring 16 points and grabbing seven rebounds.


Washington's offensive efforts were commendable as they managed to maintain a field goal percentage of 47 percent throughout the game. Their prowess from beyond the arc was less effective though, converting only 28 percent of their three-point attempts. However, their free throw accuracy was nearly flawless at an impressive rate of 96 percent.


Milwaukee Bucks: Securing Victory


On the opposing side, The Milwaukee Bucks had a balanced attack that saw them finishing with a higher efficiency rating compared to Washington. The home team excelled in shooting with an overall field goal percentage of 51 percent and was particularly deadly from three-point range where they hit 46 percent of their shots.


The Bucks' defense played a pivotal role in their victory as well by blocking six shots over the course of the game compared to Washington's three blocks. This defensive solidity contributed significantly towards limiting Washington's scoring opportunities inside.
