Strategic Moves and Missed Opportunities

The Wizards displayed strategic adjustments in an attempt to counteract Minnesota's offensive prowess but faced challenges in maintaining consistency throughout all four quarters. Their efforts were evident in their three-point shooting performance where they hit seventeen out of forty attempts (42 percent), showcasing their capability to compete at long range.

However, Washington struggled inside paint compared to Minnesota who dominated this area both defensively and offensively; recording twenty-four made shots within paint out of thirty-nine attempts (62 percent).
