Wizards' Efforts Fall Short Against Magic's Dominance in Orlando

The Washington Wizards faced a challenging game against the Orlando Magic, concluding with a score of 90-110. This result moves the Wizards to a 9-47 record for the season, while the Magic improved to 29-30. Despite a spirited effort from Washington, Orlando's control over the game was evident through their lead in points, rebounds, and assists.

Key Performances on Both Sides


Jordan Poole led the Wizards with 16 points, complemented by four assists and three rebounds. Bub Carrington also made significant contributions with 13 points, four assists, and five rebounds. Richaun Holmes stood out for his double-double performance consisting of 11 points and ten rebounds alongside two blocks.


On the opposing side, the Magic showcased a balanced team effort that led to their victory. Their bench contributed significantly with 47 points compared to Washington's bench scoring of 37 points. The home team capitalized on fast breaks and second-chance opportunities which were crucial in extending their lead.
