First Quarter

The opening quarter saw the Washington Wizards struggling to find their rhythm, managing only 20 points compared to the Toronto Raptors' 26. Despite an impressive defensive effort from Alex Sarr, who contributed two blocks and eight rebounds throughout the game, the Wiz found themselves trailing early.

Second Quarter

In an attempt to regain control, Washington surged back in the second quarter with a strong offensive display led by CJ McCollum's sharp shooting. McCollum finished with 19 points and maintained a field goal percentage of 50 percent. The Wiz outscored their opponents by seven points this quarter, bringing them within striking distance at halftime.

Third Quarter

As play resumed after halftime, both teams exchanged blows in what became an intense third quarter. Kyshawn George made his presence felt on both ends of the court for DC, contributing significantly with nine rebounds and four blocks over his time on court. However, despite these efforts and maintaining close proximity on scoreboards through effective ball movement resulting in assists from Khris Middleton (five assists), they couldn't pull ahead.

Fourth Quarter

Entering into final moments tied closely together due largely thanks again towards contributions such as Tre Johnson’s consistent free throw accuracy (100 percent), it was anyone’s game until late heroics came forth courtesy Toronto’s bench players who collectively amassed significant bench points totaling up-to fifty-two overall thus sealing fate favorably towards North side leaving home crowd stunned yet hopeful about future prospects given glimpses shown today especially defensively where eleven total team blocks were recorded!
