First Quarter

The Washington Wizards entered the game with a 14-38 record, facing off against the Miami Heat, who held a 28-26 record. The opening quarter saw the Wiz putting up a strong fight, scoring 33 points. Justin Champagnie contributed significantly with his efficient shooting and defensive presence. Second Quarter

As the second quarter unfolded, the Wizards struggled to maintain their momentum. They managed only 19 points compared to Miami's consistent output of another 37 points. Alex Sarr tried to keep DC in contention with his rebounding efforts and playmaking skills but was unable to stem the tide of Miami's relentless attack from beyond the arc.

Third Quarter

In the third quarter, Washington attempted to rally back into contention by scoring 23 points. Tristan Vukcevic showed flashes of brilliance with his three-point shooting accuracy but faced stiff resistance from Miami's defense. The Heat continued their dominance by adding another 33 points to their tally through effective ball movement and perimeter shooting.

Fourth Quarter

The final period saw Washington trying desperately to close the gap as they added another 26 points on board. Bilal Coulibaly showcased his potential with aggressive drives and defensive plays but it wasn't enough against Miami’s well-rounded performance that culminated in a total of 25 fourth-quarter points.

Despite spirited efforts from players like Sharife Cooper who displayed commendable efficiency throughout various segments of playtime; ultimately it was not sufficient against an opponent firing on all cylinders across multiple quarters leading them towards victory over DC at Capital One Arena.
