First Quarter

The game began with a strong start from the Dirty Birds, who quickly established dominance by scoring 35 points in the first quarter. The Wiz struggled to keep pace, managing only 20 points. The early lead set a challenging tone for Washington as they tried to find their rhythm on both ends of the court.

Second Quarter

In an attempt to close the gap, Washington's defense tightened up slightly in the second quarter. Despite this effort, Atlanta continued their offensive prowess by adding another 25 points. The Wizards responded with a modest improvement, scoring 23 points but still trailed significantly as they headed into halftime.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw an explosive performance from Atlanta as they scored an impressive 40 points. This surge was pivotal in extending their lead and putting pressure on DC's defense. Meanwhile, Bilal Coulibaly contributed notably for Washington with his defensive efforts and playmaking skills but could not prevent his team from falling further behind after adding just 21 points themselves.

Fourth Quarter

In a spirited final push during the fourth quarter, Jamir Watkins led a rally for DC by contributing crucial baskets that helped them score an impressive total of 34 points – their highest-scoring period of this matchup. However, despite outscoring Atlanta during these minutes (who managed only 19), it wasn't enough to overcome earlier deficits or change momentum entirely back into favor before time expired.
