First Quarter

The opening quarter saw the home team, Army Black Knights, take an early lead with a touchdown. Despite efforts from Charlotte's defense, including notable contributions from linebacker Reid Williford who recorded 17 combined tackles and defensive back Dwight Bootle who blocked a special teams play, the Niners were unable to put points on the board.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Army extended their lead by adding another touchdown and a field goal. The Niners struggled offensively during this period but showed resilience on defense with Gavin Willis making significant plays by recording two tackles for loss.

Third Quarter

As play resumed after halftime, Charlotte continued to face challenges moving forward against Army's robust defense. Grayson Loftis managed to complete several passes totaling 68 yards and one touchdown throughout his time on field but was unable to convert these into points during this quarter.

Fourth Quarter

The fourth quarter brought some hope for Charlotte as they finally broke through with a touchdown pass from Loftis connecting with wide receiver KD Hunter-Gibson for a remarkable long gain of 16 yards resulting in their only score of the game. However despite this late surge it wasn't enough as time ran out leaving them short against an effective opponent like Army who maintained control till end whistle blew.
