In front of an impressive crowd of 80,810 fans, the Tigers' defense was formidable throughout the game. They recorded four sacks and eight tackles for loss while holding their opponents to just 12 points. The defensive unit also forced one fumble and recovered it, adding to their solid performance on the field.

On offense, Clemson's rushing attack proved effective as they accumulated 207 yards on the ground over 42 attempts. This included two rushing touchdowns which contributed significantly to their total score. Their longest run was a notable 21-yard dash through the Demon Deacons' defense. The passing game added another dimension to their offense with a completion percentage of approximately 64 percent from 28 attempts resulting in six first downs.

Special teams also played a role in Clemson's win; although one field goal attempt was missed, they successfully made another from within the range of twenty-nine yards out. Additionally, all four kickoffs by the Tigers resulted in touchbacks.

Wake Forest's efforts were commendable despite falling short on points. Their defense managed to hold Clemson without any passing touchdowns and limited them to only one successful field goal out of two attempts.

As both teams look ahead after this hard-fought battle at Memorial Stadium, attention turns toward future games on their schedules.

The next challenge for the Clemson Tigers will be an away game against Miami (FL) Hurricanes at Hard Rock Stadium located in Miami Gardens.
