On the ground, running back Phil Mafah exploded for 107 yards on just seven carries, highlighting his day with a dazzling 38-yard touchdown run that left defenders grasping at air. Jay Haynes also made significant contributions to the rushing attack, finding the end zone once among his eight attempts and totaling 42 rushing yards.

Defensive Dominance


The Tigers' defense was equally impressive, stifling many of the Wolfpack's efforts to gain momentum. Defensive end T.J. Parker wreaked havoc in the backfield all game long, recording two sacks and forcing one fumble while accumulating four tackles overall. In addition to Parker's standout performance, cornerback Ashton Hampton made his presence felt by returning an interception for a touchdown over an electrifying distance of 53 yards.


Special teams played their part as well; kicker Nolan Hauser successfully converted all eight extra-point attempts and nailed his only field goal attempt from twenty yards out.
