Key Defensive Plays and Offensive Efforts


The Tigers' defense was relentless throughout, recording three sacks and forcing two fumbles which they recovered. T.J. Parker stood out on defense with one sack for five yards lost by South Carolina and seven tackles overall, alongside forcing one fumble which he also recovered. Sammy Brown also contributed significantly with one sack and nine combined tackles, showcasing Clemson's defensive strength.


On offense, quarterback Cade Klubnik completed 24 out of 36 attempts for 280 yards but was intercepted once. Despite not throwing any touchdowns, his efforts kept Clemson competitive throughout the game. The rushing attack saw some success as well; Klubnik himself rushed for two touchdowns including an impressive longest run of 18 yards contributing to his total rushing yardage of 62 on ten attempts.


Antonio Williams emerged as Klubnik's favorite target catching eight passes for a total of 99 yards with his longest reception being 40 yards. This performance highlighted Williams' importance in Clemson’s offensive scheme despite not finding the end zone.


Special Teams Performance


Aidan Swanson had a busy day punting six times for an average net yardage gain per punt over thirty-six yards; two punts landed inside the twenty-yard line showing strategic field positioning by Clemson’s special teams unit.
