The home team, Colorado State Rams, showcased an explosive offense with a total of 606 yards gained during the game. The passing attack was particularly effective, with the quarterback completing 26 out of 32 attempts for a total of 305 yards and three touchdowns. One touchdown pass was notably long, covering half the field for a full 50 yards. The receiving corps also had an outstanding day, matching the passing yardage with their receptions and contributing significantly to all three passing touchdowns.

On the ground, Colorado State's rushing game was equally dominant as they amassed an impressive total of 301 yards across 45 attempts and scored three touchdowns. Their longest run stretched for 36 yards, although their longest touchdown run was capped at six yards. The offensive line played a pivotal role in this success by creating opportunities for first downs on both rushing (15) and passing plays (14).

Special teams contributed to Colorado State's dominance as well; kickoffs traveled for a combined distance of 441 yards with five resulting in touchbacks from seven attempts. Although one field goal attempt did not find its mark from within the range of thirty-nine yards or less.

Defensively, Colorado State proved formidable by sacking San Jose State's quarterback three times for losses totaling twenty-seven yards and forcing one interception without allowing any return yardage on it. They also forced one fumble during play but did not recover it.

San Jose State struggled throughout most facets of the game but managed two touchdowns against Colorado State's defense which held firm otherwise.

Looking ahead after this commanding performance at home, fans can anticipate watching their team again when they face off against Marshall Thundering Herd away from home turf at University Stadium in Albuquerque on December sixteen around four-thirty PM Mountain Time (MT). This upcoming contest will be broadcasted live on ESPN satellite channel two hundred six for those who wish to follow along remotely as their beloved Rams take to the field once more.
