Ground Game Dominance


The Colorado State Rams showcased their rushing prowess by accumulating an impressive total of 224 yards on the ground. Avery Morrow stood out with his remarkable performance, rushing for 156 yards on 21 attempts and scoring two touchdowns. His longest run of 73 yards not only highlighted his speed and agility but also contributed significantly to setting up scoring opportunities for his team. Justin Marshall also contributed with 43 yards over 14 carries, although he couldn't find his way into the end zone.


Aerial Attack


Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi, quarterback for the Rams, had an efficient game passing with a completion rate of approximately 64 percent for a total of 132 yards. He threw one touchdown pass and was intercepted once. His longest completion was for 36 yards which played a crucial role in maintaining momentum for Colorado State's offense throughout the game.


Defensive Standouts


On defense, Gabe Kirschke made notable contributions including one sack and forcing one fumble which showcased Colorado State's defensive strength against UTEP's offense. The defense as a whole tallied three sacks and five tackles for loss while limiting UTEP’s scoring opportunities.


Special Teams Impact


Special teams also played an integral role in this victory with Jordan Noyes successfully converting two field goals from within the range of thirty-nine yards each contributing six points towards their win.
