First Quarter

The Wolverines set the tone early with a strong opening drive that culminated in a rushing touchdown by Jordan Marshall. This initial score gave Michigan an early lead and showcased their offensive prowess on the ground. The defense also stepped up, keeping Purdue scoreless throughout the first quarter.

Second Quarter

Purdue responded in the second quarter with a touchdown of their own, leveling the playing field. However, Michigan's offense continued to rely on its rushing attack. Marshall again found his way into the end zone, adding another touchdown to his tally and helping maintain Michigan's lead going into halftime.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw both defenses tighten up significantly. Purdue managed to put three points on the board through a field goal but struggled to make any further headway against Michigan’s defensive line led by Derrick Moore and TJ Guy.

Fourth Quarter

In an intense final period, Purdue attempted a comeback with two field goals but fell short as Jordan Marshall sealed his hat-trick of touchdowns for Michigan. His performance was instrumental in securing victory for the Maize and Blue despite Bryce Underwood’s interception earlier in this period.

Jordan Marshall was undoubtedly pivotal for Michigan with 185 rushing yards and three touchdowns from 25 attempts—an impressive feat that left fans cheering at every turn. Meanwhile, Derrick Moore contributed defensively with two sacks and one forced fumble which helped stifle Purdue’s offensive efforts.
