Missouri Tigers Dominate at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Football Showdown

The Missouri Tigers, with a record of 10-2, faced off against the Arkansas Razorbacks, standing at 4-8, in a game that saw the Tigers emerge victorious with a score of 48-14. The game took place at the Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium and was attended by 59,847 fans.

From the outset, the Missouri Tigers established dominance on both sides of the ball. The offense amassed a total of 370 yards with an average gain of nearly six yards per play. The rushing attack was particularly effective as they racked up 258 yards on the ground over 43 attempts for an average of six yards per carry and scored three touchdowns; their longest run stretched to an impressive 49 yards.


The passing game complemented this ground dominance efficiently. The quarterback threw for two touchdowns and completed twelve out of twenty-one passes for a total of 112 passing yards. His longest completion was for twenty-eight yards and he maintained an impressive passer rating of approximately one hundred thirty-three.

Special teams also contributed to this comprehensive performance with two successful field goals from within twenty-nine yards and all extra point kicks made after touchdowns.


Defensively, Missouri's relentless pressure resulted in five sacks totaling fifty-three lost yardage for Arkansas while forcing five fumbles from which four were recovered by Missouri including one returned for a touchdown adding to their scoring tally.

Arkansas Razorbacks struggled throughout the game to find rhythm against Missouri's defense which only allowed fourteen points across four quarters – all scored in the final quarter when they were already trailing significantly behind.
