The offensive unit for Missouri was in fine form, accumulating a staggering 518 yards in total offense which starkly overshadowed Buffalo's effort. Quarterback Brady Cook was at the helm of this onslaught with a commendable outing that saw him complete 28 out of his 36 pass attempts for a total of 228 yards. Despite an interception slightly blemishing his record for the day, Cook's leadership and poise were evident throughout. Drew Pyne also made notable contributions during his time on the field by successfully completing six passes from as many attempts adding another 35 yards to Missouri’s offensive tally.

The running game for Missouri highlighted its depth and dynamic ability with Nate Noel leading with remarkable agility and speed. Noel rushed for a total of 73 yards across twelve carries and crossed into the end zone once. His longest run covered twelve yards; however, it was Brady Cook who stole headlines with an electrifying thirty-one-yard touchdown run that left fans in awe.

In terms of receiving prowess, Theo Wease Jr., emerged as Cook’s prime target securing thirteen receptions for an impressive one hundred forty-nine yards. While he didn’t score a touchdown this game, Wease Jr.'s consistent ability to get open made him indispensable.

Defensively, Missouri was just as formidable; they tallied three sacks and four tackles for loss while stifling Buffalo’s offense consistently over four quarters. Jahkai Lang and Johnny Walker Jr., who each recorded a sack against Buffalo’s quarterback showcased Missouri's defensive line's strength and agility.

Special teams contributed significantly as well with kicker Blake Craig converting five extra points post-touchdowns despite facing challenges on longer field goal attempts where he succeeded only once in three tries from beyond fifty yards.

Looking ahead, Missouri is set to face Boston College Eagles at Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field on September 14th at12:45 PM EDT in what is anticipated to be another engaging matchup broadcasted on SEC Network (satellite channel number:611). Fans are eagerly marking their calendars hoping to witness continued success from the Tigers’ camp as they progress through their season campaign.
