First Quarter

The opening quarter saw both teams locked in a defensive battle, with neither side managing to put points on the board. The Tigers' defense set an early tone, showcasing their ability to stifle the Gamecocks' offensive efforts.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both teams found their rhythm offensively. The Gamecocks managed to score 14 points; however, it was Missouri's strategic plays that kept them ahead. Beau Pribula led Mizzou's offense by completing key passes and securing one touchdown pass during this period. Ahmad Hardy contributed significantly on the ground with his rushing prowess.

Third Quarter

As play resumed after halftime, each team added another touchdown to their tally. For Mizzou, Jamal Roberts broke through for a rushing touchdown that highlighted his agility and strength against South Carolina's defense. Meanwhile, Khalil Jacobs made crucial tackles that limited further scoring opportunities for the Cocks.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter was where Missouri truly shone defensively and offensively. Zion Young recorded one of five total sacks by Mizzou’s defense throughout the game—an effort that effectively shut down any comeback attempts from South Carolina. Robert Meyer’s perfect field goal performance also added critical points for Mizzou as they sealed their victory.

With this win under their belt and momentum on their side from these performances—especially those noted in Missouri Tigers post-match stats—the team looks forward confidently towards future challenges.
