First Quarter

The game kicked off with the Tigers showcasing their offensive prowess early on. Ahmad Hardy led the charge with a rushing touchdown, setting the tone for what would be a dominant performance on the ground. The Minutemen managed to respond with a touchdown of their own but failed to convert any further opportunities.

Second Quarter

As play resumed, Mizzou's defense tightened its grip on UMass's offense. Santana Banner made an impactful interception that halted any momentum for the visitors. Meanwhile, Brett Norfleet added another touchdown for Mizzou through an impressive reception from Beau Pribula, who completed 89 percent of his passes during this period.

Third Quarter

In the third quarter, Missouri's rushing attack took center stage once again. Jamal Roberts broke free for a significant gain and capped it off with another rushing touchdown. Darris Smith contributed defensively by sacking UMass’s quarterback and keeping them scoreless throughout this period.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter saw Tavorus Jones adding yet another rushing touchdown as Mizzou maintained control over both sides of play until time expired. Despite some attempts by UMass to break through Missouri’s defensive line led by Elias Williams and Josiah Trotter among others; they were unable to find success against such formidable opposition.
