Key Highlights from the Game

The Buckeyes showcased an impressive defensive performance with a total of four sacks and six quarterback hits. Joshua Mickens stood out with one sack and one tackle for loss among his contributions. On special teams, Joe McGuire's punting was notable as he averaged 46 yards across two attempts, pinning both inside the 20-yard line without allowing any return yards.

Offensively, quarterback Will Howard led with precision passing for a total of 260 yards and three touchdowns while maintaining an impressive completion rate of approximately 81 percent. TreVeyon Henderson was explosive in the running game with 85 yards on just six carries and scoring once; his longest run stretched for 29 yards.

Player Performances

Several players made significant impacts beyond Howard and Henderson. Jeremiah Smith caught six passes for a team-high of 87 receiving yards and added one touchdown to his tally. On defense aside from Mickens’ standout play, Jack Sawyer contributed with half a sack but made pivotal plays including recovering an opponent's fumble for a touchdown.

The special teams unit also shone brightly as Jayden Fielding successfully converted all six extra-point attempts alongside nailing a field goal from 42 yards out – his only attempt of the game.

Looking ahead, Ohio State Buckeyes will face Northwestern Wildcats at Wrigley Field in Chicago on November 16th at noon EDT. Fans can catch this matchup live on BTN network or via satellite channel number:610.
