First Quarter

The opening quarter set the tone for the Buckeyes as they quickly established dominance. Julian Sayin led the charge with precise passing, completing 68 percent of his throws and amassing 157 yards through the air. His connection with Max Klare was particularly effective, as Klare secured seven receptions for 105 yards and one touchdown.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Rutgers managed to put points on the board with a field goal but struggled to penetrate Ohio State's defense further. The Buckeyes' rushing attack began to shine as Bo Jackson powered through for significant yardage. Jackson ended his day with an impressive tally of 110 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just nineteen carries.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw Ohio State extend their lead significantly. Caden Curry was instrumental on defense, recording two sacks that stifled any momentum Rutgers attempted to build. Meanwhile, James Peoples contributed offensively by breaking free for a spectacular 49-yard touchdown run that left fans in awe.

Fourth Quarter

As the final quarter unfolded, both teams continued to battle fiercely; however, it was clear that Ohio State had control over every aspect of play. Caleb Downs added another layer of security by executing crucial tackles and securing one sack during pivotal moments.

This comprehensive performance from both sides of play ensured that Ohio Stadium remained an impenetrable fortress for visiting teams this season.
