Dynamic Offensive Plays


The Buckeyes' offense was on full display, with quarterback Will Howard leading the charge by completing 22 out of 26 attempts for a total of 201 yards. His precision passing resulted in two touchdowns and boasted an impressive completion percentage of 85 percent. Wide receiver Emeka Egbuka emerged as Howard's top target, racking up seven receptions for 80 yards and scoring one touchdown. The ground game was equally effective; TreVeyon Henderson dazzled with his agility, rushing for a total of 68 yards on nine carries and crossing into the end zone once.


Stalwart Defensive Efforts


Ohio State's defense was relentless throughout the game, accumulating five sacks and forcing two fumbles against Indiana. Linebacker Cody Simon stood out with his aggressive playstyle, contributing significantly with five tackles, six assists, and leading the sack count with an impressive tally of 2.5 sacks for a loss of yardage. The defensive line consistently pressured Indiana's offense, highlighted by Jack Sawyer who not only added another one-and-a-half sacks but also contributed four tackles.


Special Teams Shine


Special teams played no small part in Ohio State's victory; punter Joe McGuire averaged an impressive net yardage on his punts while Jayden Fielding executed perfect field goal attempts including one from as far as 45 yards out - contributing to Ohio State’s comprehensive performance across all facets of the game.
