One of Purdue's standout moments came from Antonio Stevens who secured an interception that halted Northwestern's momentum during a critical phase of the game. Additionally, Spencer Porath was perfect on field goal attempts hitting both tries which included his longest from 26 yards out.


Despite these efforts, it was not enough to secure victory as Northwestern managed to edge out Purdue in overtime thanks largely to their ability to convert when it mattered most.
