The Temple Owls showcased an impressive offensive display, accumulating a total of 649 yards over the course of the game. The passing attack was particularly potent, with 444 yards through the air and four touchdowns. One pass stood out as it went for a remarkable distance of 70 yards, which also resulted in a touchdown. The quarterback's performance was notable with a passer rating of around 149 and completing nearly 60 percent of his attempts.

On the ground, Temple's rushing efforts added up to 226 yards, including one touchdown from within five yards out. Their longest run stretched to 33 yards as they maintained an average close to five yards per carry.

Special teams contributed significantly to field position battles; although none of their punts were blocked or returned for touchdowns, they managed two punts inside the opponent's twenty-yard line and averaged nearly fifty net yards per punt.

Despite these strong offensive numbers, penalties proved costly for Temple with fourteen flags costing them a substantial total yardage nearing one hundred fifty. This hindered their momentum throughout various stages of the game.

Defensively, while sacks eluded them this time around, they did manage to secure an interception during play but were unable to return it for any yardage. However, special teams did block one attempt by their opponents which is always a significant moment in any football game.

The scoring breakdown by quarters showed that both teams started strong with seventeen points each in both first quarters combined but unfortunately for Owl fans; they could not score during third quarter while Knights added fourteen points to their tally during that period.

Looking ahead after this tough encounter on foreign turf against UCF Knights at Bounce House stadium in Orlando Florida where attendance reached over forty-one thousand fans - next up for Temple University will be another challenging away game against Houston Cougars at John O'Quinn Field at TDECU Stadium located in Houston Texas on November eleventh year twenty eighteen broadcasted live on CBS Sports Network satellite channel two hundred twenty-one starting midnight Eastern Time Zone ensuring fans won't miss any action from this upcoming contest between these collegiate football programs.
