Did Temple Owls' Efforts Shine Against Army Black Knights' Dominance?

In a challenging Week 5 matchup, the Temple Owls faced off against the undefeated Army Black Knights at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The game concluded with the Owls falling to a 1-4 season record after a 14-42 defeat, while the Black Knights advanced their flawless streak to 5-0.

Game Highlights


Despite the tough loss, several players from the Temple Owls showcased commendable performances. Quarterback Evan Simon completed 19 out of 30 attempts, throwing for 224 yards with an impressive completion rate of 63 percent and contributing two touchdowns. His efforts were highlighted by a long pass of 54 yards that resulted in one of these touchdowns, showcasing his ability to make significant plays even under pressure.


On the receiving end, Dante Wright emerged as Simon's top target with eight receptions for a total of 98 yards and scoring one touchdown.
