Second Quarter

In the second quarter, the Owls took control of the game by scoring 10 points while holding the Midshipmen scoreless. Running back Jay Ducker played a crucial role in this period with his rushing prowess, contributing to two touchdowns over the course of the game. The defense also stepped up, with linebacker Curly Ordonez recording one sack and forcing a fumble.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw a shift in momentum as Navy responded with two touchdowns to Temple's one. Despite this surge from Navy, Temple maintained their lead thanks to Simon's precise passing and Kajiya Hollawayne’s impressive receiving performance of nine receptions for 146 yards.

Fourth Quarter

As tensions rose in the fourth quarter, Navy mounted an impressive comeback attempt by scoring 11 points compared to Temple’s seven. However, despite their late push led by effective rushing plays from Jay Ducker who amassed 97 rushing yards overall, it was not enough to secure victory against Navy’s relentless offense which ultimately edged out Temple by just one point.

The final score stood at 32-31 in favor of Navy Midshipmen who remain undefeated with a record of 6-0 while Temple Owls now hold a record of 3-3 after this narrow defeat.
