In front of an attendance of 22,645 at Neyland Stadium, the Tennessee Volunteers struggled to find their rhythm against a formidable Texas A&M side. Despite a challenging season, the Volunteers showcased moments of effective play but ultimately could not overcome their opponents' performance. The home team managed to accumulate a total of 189 yards through punts and achieved their longest punt at 61 yards. However, they were unable to block any punts or return any for touchdowns.

The Tennessee defense intercepted one pass and returned it for 45 yards but failed to sack the opposing quarterback or force any fumbles throughout the game. On offense, they completed two touchdown passes including one that was an impressive longest completion for 46 yards. Their passing game seemed more effective than their rushing attack as they only gained an average of approximately one yard per carry on ground plays.

The Volunteers' efficiency on third down conversions was notably low at around seventeen percent success rate while they succeeded on their single fourth down attempt. Penalties appeared to be under control with only six infractions costing them fifty-five penalty yards.

As for special teams performance, Tennessee's kickoffs traveled a total distance of 170 yards with two resulting in touchbacks from three attempts; however no kicks were out-of-bounds or ended inside the twenty-yard line.

On the other side of the field, Texas A&M capitalized on opportunities and maintained consistent pressure throughout all four quarters scoring seven points in Q1 and securing seventeen points by halftime while keeping Tennessee to just thirteen points overall.

Looking ahead after this tough outing against Texas A&M Aggies at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville TN., fans can mark their calendars for when The Tennessee Volunteers will next take on West Virginia Mountaineers at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium located in Memphis TN.. This upcoming contest is scheduled for December thirty-first starting at nine PM Eastern Time where fans can follow along as both teams battle it out on turf surface under outdoor conditions without broadcast networks coverage announced yet.
